Collins is married to Nomusa for 23 years and they are blessed with four daughters, Nosisa, Zonqoba, Peteha and Rufaro.

Apostle Collins is the Founder, Senior Pastor and the leader of Covenant Fellowship Church International; pastoring directly a church in Durban and Richards Bay concurrently responsible for the apostolic direction of the entire CFCI. He is a graduate of the University of Zululand, Rhema Bible School, Portchefstroom University and holds a postgraduate diploma in Leadership from the University of Stellenbosch. He is presently doing a postgraduate Diploma in Coaching through the University of Stellenbosch.

He has been involved in a number of community initiatives and plays a major role in community development.

Nomusa was born in Vulindlela Township at Empangeni.


She holds a Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting from Mangosuthu University of Technology. A certificate in Image Consultation obtained at IAP College (INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONS CAREER COLLEGE) also trained in SA Image Company and is a member of PIAA (Professional Image Association of Africa). A Certificate in Business Management, a Diploma in Leadership and Ministry from the Heritage of Faith Leadership and Bible Academy,with its main campus in the USA.A Certificate in Women Empowerment and Effective Communication. Trained in Facilities Management by (SAPOA-Accredited by University of Bloemfontein).

Ministry work & Business

Nomusa together with her husband Apostle Collins are founders of Covenant Fellowship Church International (CFCI). A leader of 31 churches in South Africa with one planted in London (United Kingdom), with over 800 leaders. A leader of the CFCI Creative Arts Department, responsible for the leadership, strategic planning and giving of spiritual guidance in the music and worship ministry within the CFCI churches.  She serves as an ex-officio member of various Departments and committees at CFCI. She is the founder and the President of the Women’s organization of CFCI popularly known as the Vessel of Honour. She hosts annual national women's conferences and events that has been graced by the presence of great leading women from business, politics, church, legal fratenity and more. Nomusa, currently serves as the Managing Director of Hhaya Africa Productions, Executive Producer of Nomusa Dhlomo & Vuka Afrika.  She is a composer and writer of songs as well as a worship singer. Nomusa Dhlomo & Vuka Afrika has recorded four live CDs and DVDs. The first entitled Vuka Afrika,  second entitled Isihlalo Somusa live at the Durban Playhouse for which she was nominated in 2008 as the Best Song writer in the SABC Crown Gospel Awards. In 2009 she won the Best Contemporary Gospel Award from the SABC Crown Gospel Awards. The third CD is entitled I'm Standing, the fourth CD and DVD is entitled HLOKOMA and the fifth is entitled Esiphambanweni..

Nomusa Dhlomo & Vuka Afrika is one of the cutting edge praise and worship groups in South Africa with fresh and inspiring music that will lift your spirit.  Their songs are sung and echoed across the continent of Africa, played in all the major radio stations in the country and also on Television.

Community Engagement

Nomusa, is the co-founding member of the organization HOPE which is a registered NGO founded in 1997.  HOPE engages in social upliftment programs and care for 2000 orphans and over 600 HIV/AIDS infected and affected people.  Through HOPE initiatives two clinics have been built at Empembeni, outside Esikhawini Township and at Inkandla in partnership with the Department of Health and the business sector of Richards Bay.

Nomusa is a community builder, a preacher, a teacher of the word of God and a speaker in conferences and seminars. She has been to various international countries and her travellings cover business, ministry and leadership. She is the wife of 21 years to Apostle Collins Dhlomo. Nomusa and her husband are blessed with four beautiful daughters, Nosisa (18), Zonqoba (16), Peteha (13) and Rufaro (11).

She believes in living a significant life that will be able to change and impact other people's lives.
